TRACK DROP TUESDAY 10/11/2011

Here it is folks, the first TDT.

I have five lovely songs for you all today.

 Take It or Leave It
These Days
Pop Culture
Not In Love
The King and All of His Men

The first one up is a Sublime with Rome song, off of the new album.  This track, Take It or Leave It, is a great little tune, the music video was just released on 7/8/2011.  The music video for this song is not my favorite, but I think the song embodies a lot of characteristics of original Sublime, and fans shouldn't be as harsh on Rome, he is a pretty good artist.

Second up, Foo Fighters, These Days, this song is from the latest Foo Fighters album, which was released 4/11/2011.  This song is awesome with its shifts from mellow to harder rock which is so typical of Foo Fighters, it is classic Foo.

Third song! Our first DJ here on TDT, Madeon's Pop Culture, Madeon himself uploaded the live mashup, a video of him on his LaunchPad, 3 months ago.  This is hands down one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Madeon's other remixes are also incredible, I recommend his Deadmau5 Remix of Raise Your Weapon.

Fourth ditty, Crystal Castles, featuring Robert Smith, this song, entitled Not In Love, is a poppy electronic mix that really kicks in on the chorus, it is an older song, over a year old, but still a quality tune.  You can really tell that Crystal Castles is a high energy show from this song.

The Fifth and final belongs to Wolf Gang.  The song, called The King and All of His Men, is a great tune, already being hit by several remix artists, but I believe the original is untouchable.  Wolf Gang uploaded the music video to their YouTube 5/25/2011.

The TDT Crown for 10/11/2011 goes to These Days by the Foo Fighters, for sticking to their routes and releasing songs that embody classic Foo that we all love.
